Dota 2 Pro Meta Report: Hoodwink leads with 51 picks, Bounty Hunter has 75 bans

Here is the new Pro Meta Report. It uses OpenDota data from about 118 recent pro games on patch 7.41f. That patch came out on 2026-09-15 and changed 35 heroes and 18 items. Hoodwink is the most picked hero with 51 picks.

Three words matter in this report. A pick means a team chose the hero. A ban means a team blocked the hero, so nobody can play it in that game. Win rate shows how many of its games a hero won.

Which hero do pros pick the most right now?

Hoodwink is the most picked hero with 51 picks, and she also has 27 bans. Her win rate is 45%.

Hoodwink is a very popular hero, but she loses more games than she wins. Teams still want her.

Windranger is second with 45 picks and a 47% win rate. Witch Doctor and Dragon Knight both have 43 picks. Witch Doctor wins 60% of his games, and Dragon Knight wins 58%. Dark Willow has 42 picks and a 45% win rate. Winter Wyvern has the best win rate in the top eight: 65% in 31 games.

Which hero do teams ban the most?

Bounty Hunter is the most banned hero with 75 bans. He also has 15 picks, so 90 teams touched him in total.

Lone Druid has 66 bans, Enigma has 64, Brewmaster has 62 and Techies has 58. Techies is the only hero that is both banned a lot and picked a lot: 28 picks and 58 bans. His win rate is 50%.

Teams are right to be afraid. Lone Druid wins 70% of his 20 games. Bounty Hunter wins 67% in 15 games. Slardar wins 69% in 13 games, and Sand King wins 67% in 12 games.

What changed since last week?

Compared with 2026-10-21, Witch Doctor grew from 2.1% to 3.6% of all pro picks. Doom went from 1.4% to 2.1%. Juggernaut went from 0.2% to 0.9%, which is a big jump for a hero that few teams played.

Some heroes fell. Necrophos dropped from 2.0% to 1.0%. Enigma fell from 1.6% to 0.8%. Rubick went from 2.5% to 1.9%.
