Dota 2 Transfers of the Week: BetBoom Team sign Bottega, 3 moves in total

The Dota 2 transfer list had 3 moves between 2026-10-21 and 2026-10-28. That is 2 players and 1 coach. Only 1 of the moves touches a top team, and it is a big name: BetBoom Team.

Who joined BetBoom Team?

On 2026-10-24, BetBoom Team added Bottega, a carry from Russia. He comes from PlayTime, where he was on loan.

The carry is the player who farms gold early and fights hard in the late game. Bottega played for Yellow Submarine and PlayTime before. He has 1 tournament win on Liquipedia: EPL Championship Season 2 (2026).

His new status at BetBoom Team is listed as inactive. That means he is on the team, but he is not shown as an active player in the list for now. BetBoom Team also have their own carry, Kiritych.

Why does this move matter?

BetBoom Team are one of the strongest teams from the CIS region. They are from Russia and started in 2022. This year they finished 2nd at Esports World Cup 2026 in July. In April they won PGL Wallachia Season 8.

The current players are Kiritych (carry), Save- (mid player), MieRo` (offlaner), swedenstrong (soft support) and Kataomi` (hard support). The coach is TORONTOTOKYO. Bottega is not in this group of five for now.

What are the other moves of the week?

The other two moves are both about PlayTime. They come from the same team and happened close together.

On 2026-10-24, the player KJ left PlayTime. He has no new team yet. Two days earlier, on 2026-10-22, the coach Astini also left PlayTime. He has no new team either.

So PlayTime lost a player on loan to BetBoom Team, one more player and their coach in the same week. We do not know the reasons. What comes next for the team is not clear yet.

What happens next?

Watch the BetBoom Team lineup in the next days. If Bottega moves from inactive to an active spot, the team will have a new option at carry. KJ and Astini are free for now, so other teams can sign them.
